Dr. Brian Boisvert

Dr. Boisvert initially attained a BSc in Exercise and Health Physiology from the University of Calgary in 2008. From there, he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic - West in San Jose, California.  He graduated Summa Cum Laude and was the valedictorian of his graduating class. Dr. Boisvert also served on the school’s esteemed Sports Council, treating both amateur and professional athletes in many sports – triathlons, rugby, rodeo, ultimate Frisbee, biking, fun runs, and many more!

Dr. Boisvert believes that healthcare is a multifaceted approach in which no one therapy will fit everyone. In addition to traditional chiropractic practices, he is also Full Body Certified in Active Release Techniques® (ART®), Graston Technique®, Titleist Performance Institute® (TPI®) Golf Screening, Rocktape®, and Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation (FAKTR). He is also well versed in using Extracoporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) and Class IV LASER therapy.  He believes all tissues in the body are interconnected and his philosophy is to take everything into account when diagnosing or treating.

Dr. Boisvert is an active member and chiropractic coordinator of the Canadian Pro Rodeo Sport Medicine Team, attending numerous events to provide injury evaluation, sports medicine consultation and Chiropractic treatment in an interdisciplinary team of Athletic Therapists, Chiropractors, and Massage Therapists.

In his spare time, Dr. Boisvert loves to play hockey, golf, ski, hike, and horseback ride outside of Cochrane, where he grew up.
